SensorTrax

SensorTrax is a monitoring system designed for the automatic and remote real-time control of railway tracks. It provides continuous monitoring of micro-variations in track geometry, ensuring the safety and reliability of rail infrastructure.

The system uses high-resolution MEMS sensors, placed inside robust IP68 epoxy resin nodes, which are connected by a single quadrupole electrical cable. SensorTrax is capable of monitoring key parameters such as track skew (twist), longitudinal and transverse movements, and track settlements.

SensorTrax can be managed by any datalogger compatible with the Modbus RTU RS485 protocol, making it highly flexible and easy to integrate into existing monitoring setups. Its advanced technology enables automatic data acquisition and remote access, allowing for proactive maintenance and rapid response to potential issues.

INSTALLATION
SensorTrax nodes are designed for easy installation along railway tracks, with a modular approach that allows for scalable deployments. The IP68 epoxy resin housing ensures durability and protection against harsh environmental conditions. The system can be powered by mains, solar panels, or batteries, supporting long-term, uninterrupted monitoring.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
SensorTrax continuously collects data from its MEMS sensors and transmits it via Modbus RTU RS485 to a compatible datalogger. The data can be accessed remotely for analysis, alerting, and reporting. Automated alerts and customizable thresholds enable proactive management of track safety and maintenance.
