VILLA MOTTA

DESCRIPTION

The site of Villa Motta is a fraction of the municipality of Cavezzo, in the region Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy.

This area has been affected in the past by levee breaks, occurring during floods with water levels below the annual maximum values. This has highlighted the need to study the dynamics governing such events.

For this purpose, a Vertical Array MUMS system has been installed in the Villa Motta pilot project, exclusively equipped with high resolution sensors. The inclinometer is integrated into the complex system of sensors and radio communications of the area.
