TRIBANO

DESCRIPTION

The factory of HiREF S.p.a., placed at Tribano (PD), Italy, is a pilot site for a new cogeneration conditioning geothermal plant. The project has been developed using EU funds and the strict collaboration with the Department of Civil, Chemistry, Environmental and Material Engineering of University of Bologna, Alma Mater Studiorum.

The site is instrumented with 3 Therm Array chains, 15 m long. Every chain is equipped with 4 thermometer sensors (Therm Link HR) at variable distances. The water conducts are equipped with 4 additional PT100 sensors.

Control unit queries nodes at defined time intervals and saves them into a SD card. Data are transmitted with LAN connection to the elaboration centre, where an automatic software elaborates them. Results are available on a web platform in a few minutes.
