DESCRIPTION

Guidonia Montecelio (RM) is a site that was interested by some construction works on the railway line and its underpass (showed in the photo above).

A Vertical Array MUMS system has been installed at the beginning of 2015 to monitor the excavation phases and consequently the deformations induced near the piles.

The monitoring started during December 2015 and came to an end at October 2018.

The site is instrumented with an Array 15 m long, equipped with 26 tilt sensors Tilt Link V (spaced between 50 cm and 1 m), 3 high-resolution tilt sensors Tilt Link HR V, a piezometer and a barometer.
